Er ist ein austro-simbabwischer Sänger; lebt in Wien; studierte am Musik-Konservatorium in Graz. Sänger des in Simbabwe gegründeten A-Capella Trios Insingizi, mit dem er Mitte der 90er Jahre nach Österreich kam, bei MoZuluArt, das traditionelle Zulu-Klänge mit klassischer Musik verschmilzt sowie in zahlreichen anderen Formationen und Projekten. He captures the romanticism of the Southern African climes, his voice rich with the vibrations of a heritage that spans generations. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for the greatness of sound, he has worked with a wide range of musicians and productions amassing a hugely impressive body of work. Vusa has pushed the boundaries of world music retaining a mind-bending, soul-searching, spiritually stirring sound that is inspired by life’s questions. It is in that depth he feeds and is himself fed by the beauty of music.
